Transactions
One thing i always get asked by freelancer or people in my field is how do you receive money through freelance work from countries like USA /UK/ etc….. And when ever i answer this question the first thing i do is curse my Govt. and then Paypal for not extending there services in Pakistan. If paypal was here i would be running numorous business and might be able to build up a corporation quite soon.
Any how forget about my ambitions plans, so being a freelancer or consultant for a company abroad its quite easy to get transaction, so far the following are the options ranked 1 being the best and going downwards being the worst.
Top 5 Money Transfer Facilities in Pakistan
- Wire Transfer Bank to Bank
Okai this is the best one, all you need is a bunch of SWIFT codes and routing information from Your bank, you can easily get that by going to the Hot ladies on the help desk counter of your bank and they will provide you with the information on how to route, once you get that info you can send it to your client who can wire transfer which takes 2-4 business days - UBL Online
https://www.ubl.com.pk/ny//
Yes United Bank Pakistan is doing allot in such a case UBL Online seems to be my second favorite’s though i am not sure about its global coverage but from USA to Pakistan its easy. All you need to do is provide your client with the URL and your account information plus the address of the Bank, the money gets transfered directly to your account without any hassle - Western Union
But its an ease of use service your client pays and give you a number and you collect the money from there branch office. Though western union is fast but it has many flaws as well like heavy transaction fees, low $ rate and of course long lines. But still its easy and quick to use.
if you know any please add…
