PTCL DSL goes unlimited after midnight
I have received some good reports of PTCL DSL and some of the people using PTCL are quite satisfied with there service. No doubt PTCL charges are quite low and offer 30GB per month download for the first three months if your subscribe to PTCL DSL. Apart from that now PTCL has also offered unlimited download between 1am – 8 am on all ptcl DSL packages with addition of 50 paisas per MB for additional Bandwidth.
PTCL packages
- 256Kbps- 4GB Volume = Rs 1999
- 512Kbps – 6GB Volume = Rs 1999
- 1Mbps – Unlimited = Rs 4999
Each package comes with free modem / free installation if you sign up a one year contract. But either PTCL made a mistake on there website or its a weired package as 256Kbps and 512Kbps are both for Rs 1999 ?

If we want to use its Dsl Services for one month or just specific times as 1.00am to 10.00 am.
What will be the charges and how many days will be surf for this connection
well PTCL DSL is on monthly charges 24hours a day although from 1am onwards the bandwith limit goes unlimited… also i dont think you can use it for a month cause they do require a years contract if you want a free modem.
dude i m in abbottabad but here in atd the sales costumer said for dsl 1450/- per month n unlimited dowmloading. but this sites tell some thing else ;-(
Mirza > These are old packages now its gone more cheap, LinkDotNet DSL is for Rs 2000 for 1mb and Rs 1250 for 512mb, but in Lahore i am not sure of there packages in Abbottabad
My new broadband DSL connection from PTCL was configured on March 04, 2008. However I am continuously facing some problems regarding speed and downloading.
I am complaining since March 05, 2008 to their customer support number 1236.
1. Customer relation officers note the complaint and said, “we will pass your complaint to our technical team and they will contact you” but no one has contacted us till to date
2. Call transferred to technical department and they always suggest changing proffered and alternate DNS server addresses, and when they know that, by changing DNS server addresses the problem is still there they said, “Our team will visit your premises and solve the problem” but no one has visited till to date and the problem is still there.
My connection is 2MB (2048 kbps) but the speed which I am receiving is between 300 – 500 kbps. Also I am unable to download any thing from the internet even though most of the time I am unable to receive my emails with attachments.
I am also unable to complain on 18, by pressing automatic method it says that the number is incorrect and by pressing operator there was a long hold and after 20 or 30 minutes line dropped.
I think they will never resolve my issues.
i agree with the last comment…….ptcl is the lousiest connection one can ever invest.in the rushy hours you are even unable to connect youtube either….services are pathetic and the so called unlimited downloading can be presume in the case if it can download anything…..they should better sell ptcl………
