ooo , oooo …. another thing, I bet Evamp And Saaga’s owner must be “well” connected with some big gun in Mobilink. May be a “massi a ka puttar” – lol !- because according to these guys:

gahahaha, and they can’t make it work in other browsers ! lol !

@A. Khan With all due respect, “best viewed in IE 6″ is a big no no for any quality website. It says that you have totally undermined the “usability” and “accessibility” aspect. It shows that you don’t respect the users coming to your website, but only the masses that use IE 6 – which by the way is officially history ! don’t you know microsoft’s new kid, the IE *7* ?
I think people still use Windows 98 on your side of the world. Lol !
I know, big companies are least bothered, specially because people are not so literate about the web here, yet.
I bet “Evamp & Saanga” must boast that “hey we are so good because we got mobilinks project” – a sad and pathetic reminder how things are here and how we need a big change.

Hi Zeeshan. You’re obviously a die-hard soldier of from the open-source community, which I personally admire and give much credit to for hundreds of great products.

However, with time, you will agree that we must keep facts in perspective. IE is still the most widely used browser in the world (acknowledging this is not a crime). It is also gaining strength on mobile devices faster than any other single browser. And Dreamweaver is used by the biggest and most creative development houses. Using these products doesn’t make you an idiot, just as using Redhat Linux doesn’t make you a ‘second-grade’ network engineer (as some desi Sun/Unix techies may still argue).

You just have to know what your dev tool’s (few) drawbacks are, and then work around them – just as you do with many open source products that have many security holes, stability issues, etc. We don’t stop using great open CRMs’ or CMSs’ just because they have security or stability issues. We patch them up, stabilize them, and roll-out an even better product. Move on!!

The world progresses as we learn to use what we have to further ourselves, not by re-inventing the wheel. But you already know this, or else you wouldn’t be using WordPress to write this blog ;)
