i find the story of Dorian Gray mentioned in the above song very intriguing..so just felt like sharing it..Dorian is the protagonist of a novel by Oscar Wilde. he is subject of painting by an artist, Basil Hallward, who is greatly impressed by Dorian’s physical beauty and develops an infatuation for him. Dorian meets Lord Henry Wotton, a friend of Basil’s, and becomes enthralled by Lord Henry’s world views and hedonistic thought. realising that one day his beauty will fade, Dorian wishes that the potrait Basil has painted of him would age rather than himself. his wish is fulfilled, causing him to plunge into a series of debauched acts. the potrait serves as a reminder of the effect of his each act on his soul, with each sin being displayed as a defigurement of his form or through sign of aging.
