Ok this is huge, Chine’s firm Lenova takes over IBM for $US1.75 billion initially, although the deal has yet to be finalized as the Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States (CFIUS), an inter-agency panel, is scrutinizing the deal amid fears the technology transfers involved may pose national security concerns.
